Tuesday 27th May - The Swindon WI Bake Off!
- Run by our Fundraising Committee and kindly judged by Jackie M. Lots of scrumptious cakes were enjoyed! The winners were: Chocolate Brownies - Nicola B (cherry & walnut); Victoria Sponge - Faye; Cookies - Jenny F; Flapjack - Karen P (apple & orange); Cupcakes - Hayley L-P (nutella & lime); Best In Show - Nicola B; Best Decorated Plate - Karen P. There was also a biscuit icing activity, recipe swap and bring & buy recipe books. -
Tuesday 24th June - Scrapbooking
- Run by Jane Toomer of Stratton Scrappers. -
Tuesday 22nd July - Tote Bag Decorating
- We decorated tote bags with The Swindon WI logo using a range of embellishment techniques. -
Tuesday 26th August - Dance taster class
- Run by Just Jive. Smooth soled flat shoes or low solid heels recommended. Just Jive website -
Tuesday 23rd September - Talk by Ally and Charlie from Breaking Free
- Breaking Free is a Swindon charity that provides counselling for women who have suffered sexual abuse. Breaking Free website -
Tuesday 28th October - Media Make-up Demonstration with Philomena Liston
- We welcomed Philomena back for Hallowen again. -
Tuesday 25th November - Crochet
- Those with little or no experience learnt to make granny squares, while the more experienced made holly leaves. -
Tuesday 9th December - Christmas Party
- Festive fun with games, buffet and ukulele band. MEMBERS ONLY

Saturday 26th July - The Swindon WI's Bournemouth Trip including visit to the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum The Swindon WI's Cotswold Water Park Beach Trip!(change of location due to heat & crowds) Members only.
